Why do some british guys get naked when they are drunk?

Usually Northern English, since starting uni ive lived with lots of English "lads" and they ALWAYS strip off when drunk. Even when i go out, after clubs break theres always some already getting topless in the street. Im not complaining but i do wonder why get naked? Is it just an English thing . . . Ive tried asking but i just get a dick a flashed at me.

    Probably one popular guy did it and it spread like wildfire through england. I have know idea why they do it. LOL I'd just hide inside until the dicks went to bed.
