Has Windows Update downgraded my graphics card's driver?

The driver's version was 8.15.10.2202, from August 25 2010.

After updating it through Windows Update, new version is 8.15.10.1892, released September 2 2009.

    If your manufacturer hasn't provided the latest update of their drivers to Microsoft, then Windows Update wont know anything about them!

    Go to your manufacturer's web site (or you might find the driver is still available on your PC) and re-install it. Then complain to the people that can make things happen to get their stuff sorted!

    I've seen windows update do that. Just go to your manufacturer's website and get the latest driver.
