What's the best protection against malware?

When you installed Malwarebytes, you signed up for the free trial to Malwarebytes pro by not unchecking the option at the end of the install. Malwarebytes Antimalware and Malwarebytes pro are not an Antivirus and will not protect against all malware. Go to Avast.com and get Avast, they have a free version. (You must register within 30 days, but it's free.) Avast is highly rated and used and has great real-time protection and cool features. Keep Malwarebytes Antimalware and I recommend to add SUPERAntiSpyware, CCleaner, HTTPS Everywhere, and an ad blocker such as Adblock Plus or the windows host file to block ad's. Blocking ad's is important due to malvertizing. Use Avast' software updater to keep up on fixing software vulnerabilities. And regularly use MBAM, SAS, and CCleaner to be sure you are malware free. Also set avast to scan daily, it's in the settings. (Also in the settings is sounds, they get annoying so you can disable them there). But the best protection starts with you.

Microsoft Security Essentials:

In addition, it regularly scans your system to make sure no infections have gotten through. It's straightforward, clean, and free, a hard combination to beat.

MBAM is still free although you won't get the real time protection. The choice is yours
