What do I need to take care of when buying a new computer?
I had some issues with my current computer when trying to draw using my wacom tablet on adobe flash. It lagged so much that it made drawing impossible.
I'm going to buy a new computer and I don't want any unpleasant surprises this time. Can you give me some advice at what I need to take care of in terms of graphics board and stuff that might have an effect on the performance when using adobe flash for designing?

you just got to make sure the tablet is compatable with the new operating system (which will most likely be windows 8)
if you want to use the tablet you have now, find the manufacturers website and see if it works on windows 8.
the reason it does not work well on your current computer might be down to a few things that you could probably try now and see if they fix it.
1, old graphics drivers. old graphics drivers are usually respnisble for poor performance and stuttering graphics. if you dont know what graphics card/chip you have just google 'speccy' and install it, you can then find the graphics card you have, go to the manufacturers website (ATI/Nvidia/Intel) and you will find the drivers in the support/downloads section.
2, window with no service packs installed/not updated.
if you have never updated your version of windows, it can also be a cause of the issue, in the start menu, all programs, you will find the 'windows update' program. run it and install the updates, once restarted run it again. once fully updated the issue might be gone.
3, Tablet Drivers - if you just plugged in the tablet and started using it, it will be using windows compatable drivers. find the manufacturers page for the graphics tablet and download the latest drivers for it.
Edit_
i'm not sure, but you might also have to buy a new licence for Photoshop on the new computer.
it seems that they no longer sell it, but sell a subscription to photoshop, which is a little idiotic and will become quite expensive in the long run. there are free alternatives out there like Gimp. or other photo/picture editors.
