DC Comics Vs Marvel Comics?

1. is more consistent?

As much as I usually prefer Marvel, this score goes to DC I think.

2. has better heroes?

Overall, I vote Marvel. Because for me "better" is entertaining, fun, action with occasional serious moments. DC is often too depressing. I can get that in any number of genres, or real life.

3. had better movies?

Given that Marvel puts out so much more high end stuff, it's the body of material to win this for me. DC may have a slightly higher quality %, but in total terms.... Marvel.

4. has better stories?

See #2.

5. is more realistic?

Silly question.

6. Would likely win in a battle of the heroes?

Marvel. Unfair contest.

1.Marvel has more consistent stories. DC's New 52 is decent, but it's something I haven't read much into. I'm not a fan of the fact they changed the characters SO much.

2. DC: DC has had many great Heroes and ideas that I feel properly represents the U.S. To me, it just may be the tone of the characters and the characters themselves.(Marvel's Heroes are fantastic as well though)

3. It honestly depends: Live Action wise Marvel, but when it comes to animation, DC

4. DC: I'm not saying Marvel doesn't have any of this. But DC gets very creative with their stories and characters. Showing a great amount of imagination. I've always liked DC's way of creativity and imagination. Aside from the New 52 lol. But Marvel is still great as well.

5.In terms of realism. Both have there own forms of realism, I think. But DC has created a world behind there characters that feels pretty realistic(To me). But I think Marvels Heroes reflect real life individuals in our world. X-Men(Civil Rights of the 50s and 60s) and Spiderman( Shy geek in school who was misunderstood) would be examples. So I might say it's even.

I'm going to use the JLA to represent DC and Avengers to represent Marvel. In a fight, I might have to leave it at a tie, and edit my answer tomorrow.

1. Marvel (DC has had several reboots, most recently the New 52 which has changed or even removed characters from the universe, altered backstories, and spawned several terrible books)

2. DC is my preference; doesn't mean Marvel heroes are bad, I just prefer DC's

3. Depends; Marvel has MORE good movies while DC has had more crappy ones, but the Dark Knight Trilogy are better than any of the Marvel movies (in my opinion)

4. DC (but only just, again Marvel's are great but DC's are my preference)

5. Maybe Marvel, but it's close. Neither are very realistic, but it's easier to picture super-serums and radioactive spider bites than aliens and rings from space.

6. Probably DC. Aside from the Justice League, Justice League Dark, Teen Titans, Doom Patrol etc. there are also the Green Lantern Corps. (over 7200 Green Lanterns from all over the universe) the Blue Lantern Corps. and the Indigo Tribe (AKA Purple Lanterns)

That's thousands and thousands of superheroes, most of them wielding Green Lantern power rings, and the rest are the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman etc. which is pretty OP. I know Marvel has a lot of characters but I doubt they have enough to cope with all of that.

6. Marvel. They vastly outnumber them. DC mainly just has the Justice League and the Teen Titans (not sure if the Watchmen count or not, either way they still lose). Marvel has the Avengers, The X-Men, The Fantastic Four, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Young Avengers, The Runaways, and individuals, like the Punisher.
