Pirates of the Caribbean - Who can tell me something of the oil lamp in the opening bedroom scene?

Update:

Tommy: sorry for you. The lamp in Ms. Swann's bedroom at the movie's beginning, if it is of the period, is a whale oil lamp, and I have not before seen its design. Internet references to 'whale oil lamp' and P.O.T.C. get posts about the lighthouse scene.
