Who had the best left hook in boxing history?
Joe Frazier surely ranks among the best, but who else makes your top 5?

David Tua just might have had a better left hook than even Joe Frazier, but any way you look at it they are the best of the heavyweight division by far.
The left hook that Sugar Ray Robinson KOed Rocky Graziano with ranks up there with the best left hooks ever thrown, and come to think of it Robinson KOed Glen "Bobo" Olsen with the same left hook. Ray Robinson was in my opinion the best of the non heavyweights.
Ricardo Lopez, while not generally mentioned in conversations about power because of his small stature was none the less as technically perfect a left hook artist as any boxing ever produced, and while I am at it another little big man comes to mind. Michael Carbajal KOed Humberto Gonzales with a picture perfect left hook after getting up from two knockdowns in their first fight.
I will round off my top five with Joe Louis and Tommy Morrison, two more heavyweights with crushing power and a devastating pair of left hooks that left many an opponent face down on the canvas.

George Foreman said after his fight with Gerry Cooney that Cooneys left hook was better than Joe Fraziers. Wow that is some statement. Joe Frazier was the king of left hooks. The greatest single left hook was the one Sugar Ray Robinson knocked out iron jawed Gene Fullmer with in 5 rounds.

Agree on Joe Frazier but he was consistent in his repeated hooks.
I think Colin Jones of Wales had the best. But the best punch I have ever seen is when Palamino knocked out the tough Dave "Boy" Green in their world title fight.
Of course the great Joe Louis was in a class of his own.
