Computer repair advise?
I need repair advise on how to go about getting my Laptop repaired. My laptop fell while plugged into the charger and broke the DC-in charger part, so when i tried to plug charger in after it was deep inside the computer broken from where it should be.

DC-in part replacement
So i broke the charging port hole to my laptop and need advice on how i can go about repairing it since it was a black Friday purchase which means it has no insurance.
I am in Chicago Illinois and wondering if anybody knows where i can take it to get it repaired at a reasonable price since i am pretty low on cash lately or am i better off taking it to somewhere like Geek-squad?
If anybody can offer me any helpfull advise i would be very thankfull for it.

Look for a local computer repair shop online. Be sure to get an estimate of complete repairs so you can decide if repairing the laptop would be cost effective. If it's 2 or 3 years old, and the cost of repairs is $200 or less, it's likely worth fixing. If it's 4 or 5 years old, it may be more cost effective at that point to get a new computer. The technology would be better, it would likely have a better operating system, and would have a warranty.

Well if you were in Indy its easy fix , take it to a laptop repair shop its probably 100 bux
