Was the ref in the Uruguay England match biased?
It was on today at 20:00 English time.
The ref striker me as biased as he gave Uruguay lots of chances but gave England as few as he could.

well he missed an obvious elbow in the face/neck in the first half. Forget yellow, straight ref card. but didn't have the guts to give it

No, I don't really think he was to be honest. Every team will have calls given for and against them - maybe Uruguay got a couple more but at the end the day, the English didn't lose based in the referees performance.

I thought he was equally bad. I'm not impressed with the referees this WC as they call every tap and bump in the open field and then miss the big ones.
