I think being a feminist means that you  think women and men should be treated equally. It doesn't mean you are a lesbian(although you can be), it doesn't mean you hate men, it doesn't mean you are a bad person, it just means you think things should be fair.

A feminist just wants the right to be treated the same as everyone else in society.  Equal pay for equal work etc.
A feminist can be either female or male.  They just believe all people are the same.

Before it was about equal rights, equal pay, and mutual respect, now it’s about women taking care of their needs and feelings by ignoring the needs and feelings of men.

Somewhere over the years feminism lost its way.
