Popular Car racing game?

Hi I am trying to remember a car racing game I used to play around the year 2004-2010 (sorry for the big range, but i remeber i would probably be 2006-2008, but i might be wrong )?

It is typically a normal racing game but the fun fact about it is that it uses weapons such as machine guns, rocket launchers and mines that can be equippable on the car. I also remember one of the map where you can jump on a ramp and break past the glass on the second level of the building. THis game is quite old and I remember playing it on the Xbox or the PS2/PS3? Can anyone remember what racing game am I talking? Thanks!
