Adobe Flash Player installation error?

Question

I need to update my Adobe Flash Player however, I keep coming across the same error. 
I tried to install it three times now and each time it downloads up to 7% and then says "Lost Connection. Trying to reconnect.." and then a few seconds later "Connection failed. Unable to complete installation.".

I've got WIndows 7 (64-bit) and the browser I use is Mozilla Firefox which has just been updated. 
I have already tried deleting my current version of AFP and still encounter the same error. It can't be my internet connection as I haven't come across any other connection problems and the connection is very strong. I'm not sure what to do now, how can I fix this?

Hmm sounds like a file simply got corrupted. Completely eliminate flashplayer from your computer and reinstall it. Uninstall it through the normal windows procedure then eliminate it manually by removing any flashplayer files. If you don't have any other adobe software then you shouldn't have to look hard, but if you don't know what you're doing just uninstall it like you would any other software. Doing it manually just makes sure that literally everything is gone by removing anything windows left behind when it did its auto uninstall.

*edit, you said you already tried uninstalling. Have you made sure all traces of it are gone?

4 things that can be done
1) - make sure ur internet connection i not slow
2) - scan ur computer with antivirus
3) - do not run any other program while installation of flash player
4) - If none works, then wait for next version of flash player

scan ur computer and see...if there is any virus it will show like that
