The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Finale. Your Thought?

I watched the finale and I must say I AM SHOCKED! I am also disappointed though....
First off I need to say that my favorite character would be Stefan but I am absolutely not a Stelena shipper. I also love Damon but he is just not my favorite. I noticed that Damon gets more attention in the show, by the writers and the viewers. After Stefans death in episode 21 I was sure that he would come back but I thought this is the chance for this character to be noticed and appreciated again. Then the finale came.... AND it got to be Damons big moment.... Now Damon is the hero and Stefan is one of the reasons why his brother is dead (he will come back too. I have the feeling that Bonnies grams made sure that Bonnie will come back 'cause she told her she'll be fine or something like that and Damon is holding Bonnies hand so he will come back with her).
I dont know... I just hoped that Stefan could have a big moment.

I know exactly how you feel! I am the HUGEST Stefan fan, and he's the reason why I even watch the show, but yeah, I was upset that Damon died, because at the end of the day, he did die to save his brother. I obviously didn't hysterically cry like my friends, but I did shed a couple of tears... If it was Stefan on the other hand, I would have cried myself to sleep, lol. I've always been a way bigger 'Defan' fan than a Stelena/Delena fan. And just like you, I'm not really 'stelena' anymore, I used to be though.. and I still am to some point, but Elena doesn't deserve him,.. so the only reason why I want Stelena to get together in season 6 is to make Stefan happy.. because it's obvious that he will never get over Elena, or ever love anyone as much as he loved her!
About Damon getting attention, he surely does, but so does Stefan! Remember that the ratings of Vampire Diaries DRASTICALLY dropped this season, and what a coincidence.. it's the season that Delena is 'together', we shouldn't be so quick to assume that Delena or Damon has more supporters.
I definitely feel that Damon will come back! He's signed to season 6, but whether we will see him in human form or as a ghost, I don't know, we have to wait until October for that (which is way too long by the way). But don't worry, Stefan will have his moments too! At the end of the day , Vampire diaries is about the love of Elena and Stefan.. (at least it used to be). :)
