Free trade - Like european citizens chemical treated food from the US?

There are bans in place in the EU of genetically modified foods, bovine growth hormones, chlorinated chickens and Stevia, the natural sweetener, all which are legal in the US.

Phthalates and Bisphenols in plastic used to pack food, the standard of approval is different. In Europe, the precautionary principle requires that the suppliers of chemicals prove their additives safe, or they will be banned.

RayHere is wrong about bananas, this is a myth, probably started here in the UK, by those opposed to our membership in the EU, they also told us we would not be able to call our chocolate by that name, that we would not be able to sell unwrapped sweets etc. etc. etc. all totally untrue.

Do you mean like the EU ban on curved bananas? Curved bananas come from American companies in south America but we Americans have seen their so called males there an other reason for this ban
