Basically I just found out this girl that I've been chatting to is 16?
I just turned 18 and I met this girl at this event and she was really nice and she told me that she was 17 but I just found out she literally turned 16 about a month and this has just really weirded me out like its the same age as my sister and i just find that so weird and I dont know what to do? Anyone else been in this situation before? I also wont be seeing her in a while

Call her out on it, she needs to learn she can't get away with crap like that. Then move on. She lied to you, she's a minor, and you can't even see her. There's no point in wasting your time.

I don't think it's weird at all, it's normal, my 19 year old friend is dating a girl who's 15 years old but she acts like she's 19 too, and she looks it also. Honestly, it's not weird at all, it's completely normal. I could see it being weird if you were 19 and she was 13, then I'd find it weird.
She probably likes you A LOT and didn't know what you'd say about her being 15 years old so she waited until she turned 16 to say something. Its wrong to lie about your age BUT the age difference between you and her isn't a big one, that's for sure. I wouldn't make a big deal about it, and I'd stay with her but it's up to you! I'm not you, so you have to make the decisions for yourself, but who knows what she's going to lie to you about next!
