being pregnant, fertility, complications?
My husband and I are trying to fall pregnant. We are having issues mainly due to the fact I can't even remember the last time I had a period. I've got a few questions. What is the best way to become pregnant, and tips? If I do fall pregnant is there a higher chance of complications?

You said, "We are having issues mainly due to the fact I can't even remember the last time I had a period". Do you mean: (a) You are having very irregular periods; or do you mean: (b) You just cannot keep track of when you begin a period? If it is the latter, just get a plain old paper calendar, and, every month, put a big check mark on the date you begin a period. If it is option (a), then you need to see a doctor and find out why you are not having periods and if you are even ovulating.
Otherwise --if you are trying to conceive (and even if you are not):
A woman normally ovulates 14 days after the first day of her menstrual period. The day it ends on is really immaterial. Counting the first day of bleeding as "Day 1", count forward 14 days. That will be your ovulation date for that cycle. Factor in 2 days before and 2 days after the 14th day, to allow for the length of time that sperm can live in your body. Those 5 days will be your fertile time, and will be the ONLY dates in that cycle during which you can become pregnant. You do not run the risk of getting pregnant again until the date you begin another menstrual period and start a new cycle.
You said, "If I do fall pregnant, is there a higher chance of complications"? What makes you think you would be at a higher risk for complications than any other woman might be?

Are we talking months since your last period? If so you need to sort that problem out first. No period usually means you're not ovulating either. If you're not ovulating then you won't achieve the ultimate goal here which is conceiving.
