Is there anything more divisive than theistic religion?

I think the problem is the people, not the religion.

People will use any excuse to justify their actions if it means they can personally benefit somehow.

I think if religion didn't exist, people would still find reasons to kill other people.

@torpex2002: Sorry, I may have been unclear. I think the answer is "people." People are move divisive than religion. They cause a lot of death and destruction in the name of religion, which I believe is different.

It is very hard to counter brainwashing techniques!!! That is why the shepherds of the biblical time decided to teach the religions how to use it on humans because they lost very few sheep while they were under their shepherds mind control!!! Plus that is why the religious are called sheeple!!! The religious tended their believers the same way the shepherds tended their flocks!!! Inculcation (which is like reading the rosary or having it read to you repeatedly over time) is the easiest way to apply and second best form of mind control over all!!! No gods or devils or heavens or hells exist anywhere outside of the religious cons!!! The "bile" tells us god will not help humans or animals because adam and eve, gods proud story book creations took a bite of some of his fruit!!! So because of their unreasonable hunger we are all going to be punished forever, and that must be what people want to believe, a imaginary fanatical grudge holding god with man given super powers, that he uses to keep himself out of the picture!!! That is how they get around answering questions about why god never helps anyone until after they die!!! (supposedly) Faith is only an excuse word used when you have no reasons for your beliefs, where as if you had even one reason then your beliefs and your faith would be completely unnecessary!!! Basing a life on only lame beliefs of faith is as useless as hunting for big game with a pea shooter!!! HEY did any one ever think that maybe the bile came from the universe in a meteor??? Hell if it did then i would believe it!!! But as it is now, man is the only one who could of made it up!!! If you claim goddidit then why didn't god give a copy to Adam and Eve??? Maybe they would of eaten the book or scroll and left the imaginary fruit alone!!!

People, sin and evil are the real problems but yes religion is a problem for sure. Christianity is not a religion btw
