Would a Christian owned corporation do this?

Would a Christian owned retail corporation buy most of the items they sell from Communist China where the government actually does persecute Christians and other faiths, and not only encourages abortion, but has a policy of forced abortion as well? Making money by supporting the Chinese thugocracy by purchasing their mostly slave labor made goods and selling them at a profit doesn't seem particularly 'Christian' to me.

In light of the above does refusing to include various birth control advantages in the company's health insurance plans seem hypocritical?

What makes you think Christian are persecuted in China? I've been to China 3 time without a problem. I know many Chinese Catholics. As far as benefits offered. If a person doesn't like the benefit package, they are free to look for employment elsewhere.

I don't think you understand group insurance. By offering something that will only benefit a portion of the employees is unfair. The cost to the employer, and all employees is increased. How is that fair to the male employees? Please answer this in the details.

There are 23 million Christians in China

Of course it is, but no matter what the Supremes decide, it underscores the fact that a corporation isn't a person with a religious point of view, and the right to exercise its point of view, but that its a business, where profit and loss and the protection from lawsuits and bankruptcy for the owners are the reasons for incorporation. We can argue about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, with the same reasonableness that giving a corporate entity are religion brings, but that doesn't mean there are angels.

Are you kidding? Christian-owned corporations by their crap from whatever source will make them the most money. Just like every other corporation.

These days some seem to use Christian as a wedge for getting votes. God will sort it all out soon.

I fail to see the connection. Usually, religious organizations have limited funds to be able to achieve their missions. It's unamerican when excessive regulations make it impossible for people to start a business in the USA anymore.
