Can't get rid of the fleas on my dog?

My dog got fleas from me taking her to someones house and now i cant get rid of them.

I've tried giving her a bath and letting the soap sit on her, nothing.

I've tried advantage 2 didn't touch them, i've tried petco spray, sprayed her and the house.

I've even sprayed the yard with stuff called demon.

But nothing seems to be working

I even stopped taking her places.

So how can I get rid of them?

    1. buy a flea preventative from the vet for the dog (and any other animals in the house)

    2. buy a premise spray FROM THE VET for your home ...

    3. buy food-grade diatomaceous earth for your yard ...

    4. you can put a flea collar in your vacuum cleaner bag/canister and vacuum daily for thirty straight days to get up as many eggs and fleas as possible ...

    The soap should at least knocked them down for a couple of days, but since I don't think it kills eggs won't help for long.

    Go to the vet and ask what they recommend, you don't need to see an actual vet, their staff usually knows enough about this. I've used comfortis without problem after my dogs picked up fleas which turned out to be frontline resistant.

    There is only one sure way to rid your house and your dog of fleas.

    Buy enough flea bombs for the square footage of your house. Not using enough of them is a waste of money and without using enough of them you will not get rid of all the fleas.

    Get all pets out of the house, and while out give flea baths and then use a good topical such as Biospot. This is a repellent and will prevent a reinfestation no matter where you take the dog.

    In ten days, you will have to bomb the house again, although you will not have to apply another topical for 4 weeks. This second bombing is done to get the flea eggs that will have hatched.

    If this is done carefully, it is a sure way to get rid of fleas.

    Been there, done that.

    Using a good topical repellent will keep your house flea free and Biospot has never failed me.
