Are there any other thought crimes in Christianity?

Paul instructed the Christians in Colossae to think on Heavenly things instead of earthly things (Colossians 3:1–2).

We are no longer under the Ten Commandments as they are a part of the Mosaic Law. However, except for the Sabbath, we are still told not to do those things. They are reiterated for Christians in the Greek Scriptures. The New Testament says to not even look at a woman lustfully if she isn't your wife.

Will that harm someone else? Possibly. If I were married and I sensed another woman was interested in my husband it would give me an uneasy feeling.

But not only that there is this expression to consider. Our thoughts become our actions. When we don't control our thoughts, they can lead to acting on them.

Friend, you've got so much to learn about life and your education leaves something to be desired. "thought crimes" from God are not the same as secular "thought crimes". You can't think in terms of a secular God in a Spiritual Realm. The reason God challenges us not to condone "thought crimes" or impure thoughts is not as much for the fact that we think about these things as what they lead to. If you are desperate for money you can have two different directions of thoughts. You can contemplate stealing money, or manipulating money out of Grandma , etc. OR you can figure out a way to access money the moral way and legal way. Same thing with almost every sin you can contemplate.

You appear to work harder here at trying to make a Good God seem evil or stupid or bad than you do at trying to show yourself that there just might possibly be a God out there. I can show you without a doubt in my mind and life that God exists. Now YOU have to make the next move...

Dwelling on wickedness, e.g. killing and dismembering some despicable atheists is a no no. God will take care of all things.

We should try to keep our minds out of the gutter; having said that, marital sex, good food and such is no sin.

The seven deadly sins (which, yes, I know are not specifically listed out in the Bible but they are there) are all thought-sins.

More importantly though, the greatest sin of all, apostasy, is a thought-sin. It is literally a sin of belief.

Covet was a later interpretation/mistransation.

An empty mind is the kind of mind the church loves the most. Unquestioning, obedient, servile.

Unfortunately for them, we aren't in the Dark Ages anymore.

There are no thought crimes in christianity. Where on earth did you get that idea? You must be associating with people who teach free thought. They are all evil satanists who spread dangerous ideas.

Christianity is a pretty sick religion.
