I wouldn't recognize a god who needed a son?

It's not true that Jesus was God's son, but it's not a weakness to want a child.

What about a god which creates humans? Isn't that weakness just the same?

I think if a perfect God existed, he wouldn't feel the need to change anything or create anything. He would simply exist forever, perfect and eternal, and lacking of desires.

But the Son is merely the intimate thought of the self awareness of one God. One God should be capable of projecting an intimate image of Himself in the form of an only begotten Son. And one God should certainly be capable of liking it (Holy Spirit). So the Trinity is merely about how ONE God knows & loves Himself. The great mystery is how God manages to actualize these intimate thoughts of Himself into observable entities in scripture. They are no less God just because God did this in scripture. They are still only ONE God. The Trinity God is so powerful that this God manages to establish the very "concept of more than one" as uncreated within His own being without diminishing the very "concept of one itself". Creation is only possible by a Trinity God.

How do you figure that one? Having a Son is a sign of love and unselfishness. They very qualities God wants us to emulate.

He didn't need a son he was the son too. And *** it says in the bible, he didn't need a son but we need his son, in order to pay for our sins and show us the meaning of love and other things that humanity forgot about or there wasn't no one to teach.

Do you recognize a god who needs anything? Is a god that needs to create and control life forms just as implausible?

I don't know God i only know Jesus the son of God I walk with Jesus i pray to Jesus. i see Jesus i don't see God. what are you saying he is the son of God it says so in the Bible or are you in another religon. God knows what he is doing he knew it before we were born.

Yes, but your concept of Jesus is typically Muslim - that Jesus is thought to have been produced in some manner.
