How do I e-mail someone in Yahoo answers ?

You can email another user by clicking their avatar and see if they allow email or I.M and email them through answers if it shows Email but if the link doesn't show they do not allow emails you can't email them.

To activate emails >

Go to http://answers.yahoo.com/

Click small fork / wrench icon on right of your avatar

Scroll down to Answers Community

Can contact me via email..(Your address will remain private)

Can contact me via Yahoo Messenger ...(This will make your messenger and Yahoo Id visible to Answers community)

Check one or both and Save.

First, enable your email.

Go to the home page

click the wrench right side of the window. Scroll to:

Answers Community. Check as below: Can contact me via

email(Your address will remain private)

Can contact me via Yahoo Messenger

(This will make your messenger and Yahoo Id visible to

Answers community)

Click save.

Now you could click on their avatar, if they accept ims or

emails click on the appropriate one and follow the prompts.

Same as before. Click their avatar, click the email link on that profile page.

You have to have yours available as well, and it doesn't look like you do. So if you can't receive email, you can't email to someone else.

Once you've enabled your email, just click on where it has the little envelope and says "email" it the other person's profile

If you need to report someone, click on the flag and it will take you to a form you have to complete.

You can only email someone else if you provide your email as well. Then you can click on the picture that they have and click email (if they have their email up).
