Yes, tan with black is actually very stylish. I think Audrey Hepburn worn such a color combination in Breakfast at Tiffany's and so did the Beatles in their films.

Something that is very IN right now is to mix your solid color garments. The colors don't have to match, or even seem likely as a coupling... they simply have to balance. You are like a painting! A painting has many colors, yes? Sometimes the cutest thing is the most impromptu or playful thing... In short, YES! You can mix tan and black leather. :)

Don't do it.

To make a leather jacket, the jacket makers have to kill at least 3 cows to get the skin for the leather.

If the leather is made from lizards then this can be up to 20 lizards in any jacket.

This is unfair to jacket makers as they have to kill plenty animals to make these clothes and they get PTSD from the animals.

Also they council don't recycle the meat from the animals so you either has to fly tip it by the side of the road - this attracts mice and coyotes which is a another problem - or you has to parcel it up and take it to the post office to send it to PETA so they can get all upset instead.

Also Black and Tan is offensive to Irish people because of the Croke Park thing that the English did.

It's cool. People can get away with wearing anything nowadays with this whole Retro style. What you are attempting to wear is nowhere near a big deal as that and it actually seems cool.
