I ordered a russian military ushanka winter hat from russia made from 60% sheep skin and 40% polyester. Is it real animal sheep skin?
Coming from russia and made in russia.
Former Soviet Union, Russian Federation it is labeled for location.
Says "made of thick gray natural wool felt and military fur, that consts of 60% of sheepskin and 40% of polyester.
Due to that the fur is very warm and resistant to rain and snow."

Sheepskin ARE ACTUALLY cut from the skin of a sheep 100%. It's true leather.
60% sheep skin and 40% polyester is a blend in of fake sheepskin & polyester. You can't mix leather with polyester. Fake sheepskin is man-made fiber.
Unless it is stated where the sheep came from (Australia, Ireland, etc) it came from China.
