have first pick in fantasy baseball pool,,this is a contract league, thus the only 2 plarers?
in a contract fantasy league and i have 1st pick. however picks a little slim this year and only have 3 choices looking at ryan braun ,,,chris davis,,,,or carlos gonzalez....any thoughts would be appreciated

It really depends on the scoring format. Can you give some additional information? Like does your league favor hitting or pitching more or is it relatively even? Is it a roto league or a H2H points league?

Take Chris Davis. Home Runs, Total Bases and Extra Base Hits are worth lots of points and First Base is somewhat of a scarce position this year while their are lots of outfielders you could pick up later in the draft like Josh Reddick or Hunter Pence.

Of the 3 I like Cargo..
Davis is at a deep 1st base position,and his career year may have just been a 1 year wonder for him.
Braun will have to stay off PEDS for the 1st time of his career;So his numbers will come down.

I'd compare Cargos' career track record vs. Davis' career track record;Not just last year.
