When to order my prom dress?

don't get it yet... custom dresses are a pain, your breasts might grow etc, mine had to be altered for a weeddinng x

I'll do it now to prevent stress. I'm 4ft11 and my prom was 4 and a half years ago. I started shopping for my dress in October (my prom was in June the following year) and loads of shops said I had to buy the dress of the rail as there was no time for alterations. Eventually I saw a nice dress on ebay that can be custom made. I ordered the dress in march and it came in time a) by a couple of days. b) I had to ask them (politely) to be quick.

Also, it depends on where you get the dress from.

A few of my friends are the same height as you, and they had no trouble finding a dress!! You can always get it tailored!! Have fun at prom,and enjoy every last second of your senior year!! Oh how I miss high school!! gl:)

March maybe? It's better to have it ready early than too late. Who knows what kind of issues you could run into, especially from custom ordering it online.

My prom is the end of june too and I ordered my dress yesterday haha, so I'd say do it within the next couple of months! :)

Don't wait until its too late. I would say maybe 3 months before that way you could see the dress and think of what you want to wear with it, etc.
