Remington 870 wood care?

Just want to know what I can use to protect the laminate wood on my 870? Wax ? Oil? Preferably something I could pick up anywhere. Not looking for gun specific products. Before you go on I know the 870 is an entry lvl gun that is made to be abused..... I just like to take care of my things.

    It would depend on what finish is on the stock. Your best bet is to read the owner's manual and do whatever Remington recommends.

    Linseed oil is classically used for wood care and conditioning. Should be available at any hardware or big box store.

    Oil will soak into wood and damage it.
