Redoing car interior?

check ebay. they had some GREAT deals on leather seat upholstery from mustangs that they were changing the interior on. Just take your time and put them on the way they came off. If you find any metal rings holding the upholstery to stiff wires inside, you will need hog rings and pliers. Google that procedure, if you don't know about how to hog ring upholstery and don't be temped to skip this step. You have to slide the back seat cover up to access the bottom clips of the headrest so you can slide the headrest all the way out. I have had great luck getting the smell out by just changing the covers.

As for the headliner, it's a large job to take that out. All your visors, map lights, hooks and door rubber, interior quarter panel trim, etc must come out to do it properly and if you don't know just where and how hard to pull, you can break things. You can do it yourself if you're handy but be careful and take your time. The headliner WILL fit out the door opening (some cars must have either front or back window removed). If you go this route, take the headliner to an upholstery shop and they can re-cover it for you for 1-200 bucks. If this is intimidating, try using a product called Ozium. I get it at Auto Zone. Spray the headliner and carpet lightly and close up the car. It may take three or four treatments but it will get the smoke smell out. Also, clean all the inside of the windows and plastic trim because smoke sticks to that too.

Get on the phone and call an auto/boat interior shop in your area. We don't know where you live, so it is anyone's guess.

Die the carpet and replace headliner.
