Price range on a tattoo?

My dad recently passed away and he had a ton of tattoos and was straight from Ireland so I wanted to get a tattoo to honor him on my 18th birthday it will be my first tattoo and I wanted a price range so I can start saving up my idea was to get a Celtic cross with R.I.P. dad and his death date on it from my shoulder to a little above my elbow so that a t shirt will pretty much cover it the cross is decently intricate with the designs within the cross and idk if I'm going to have some kind of background around it it will be all black though

I also want to at a later date get a tattoo of the Irish blessing on the side of my stomach its a 7 line poem that would probably go from 4-6 inches below my armpit to a couple inches above my hip

Depending on the area that you're from shops usually have a $50-$70 minimum. My guess would be that a piece the size of what your wanting in black and white will probably run $150-$170. This is what it would be in my area. You should definitely stop into different shops look at their work, have them draw ideas up for you, and price everything out.
