If Cotto where to defeat Sergio Martinez, would a Cotto/Golovkin fight happened?
Cotto is a great fighter but I believed he would not last six rounds with Golovkin due to "GGG" being a natural middleweight and his power. So would Cotto vacate the title and move back to junior middleweight and seek a big mega fight with Canelo or a rematch with Mayweather? What do you think?

No chance. Golovkin is not even a big name. If Cotto defeated Martinez, he would be the frontrunner for another Mayweather fight which means the biggest payday for him. Floyd vs Cotto for the lineal middleweight title.

Cotto will never fight GGG.
If he does beat Martinez, then a rematch w/ Floyd for the MW title is definitely going to be next for him. That fight will pay Cotto waaaaay more than any possible fight out there.

GGG would murder Cotto IMO. GGG hits too hard and is too big for Cotto, I think he would stop Cotto in 9 rds.
