Closed Water Loop Noise?

I bought a Zalman CNPS20LQ a few months ago. I noticed when the PC is under load, there's a terrible noise coming from the unit. It sounds like a buzzing noise that oscillates every half second and yes, it is very loud. It goes away in around 2 minutes, but comes back in around 10-20 minutes. It's a sealed loop, so I dont know if it has air in it, but could that be the reason? I dont think I can return the unit because it was open box (last time Im buying open box, I promise!) Also, the unit doesnt make noise when I lay the PC to it's side. No, the CPU does not rise in heat when the noise occurs, its just annoying to hear. Could it be a bearing? If there is a way of fixing it, please let me know. It's been doing this since I got it, but got a little worse now.

I would suspect a bearing before air in water although I would need to hear it. Does it sound like cavitation in the pump? I think you can disconnect the pump separately from the fan on that cooler right? Try that and also try stopping the fan when the noise is going on to isolate which component is producing it.
