Whats a criminal and what is not?

A criminal is anyone convicted of a crime, whether a misdemeanor or a felony. Traffic tickets generally do not count. However, if a person has numerous unpaid tickets and a warrant is issued for his arrest and he is convicted of failing to pay his fines, that is a crime. --- A criminal conviction, having done a crime that is defined and described in the Criminal Code. --- That's off the top of my head and I have no criminal law experience.

There is no Catholic Church. Are you thinking of the "Roman Catholic" Church? There are other Catholic churches. Catholic is a general term, not specific to any one particular religion. Regardless, a religion in and of itself cannot be a criminal. Since a church is an institution, comprised of a body of people, it does not fall into "a" criminal, which means "one" individual. Further, even if it did, a religion has not got the capability of performing a criminal act. If you do not agree with the religion, don't call yourself Roman Catholic and don't go to the church. Don't feel obligated and be your own person. Let the pope preach to people who want to listen. Spend your Sunday mornings on Yahoo Answers. It it probably more productive and helps more people.
