Can I use any instead of some?
Hi everybody I'm Italian and I want to ask you a question. Can I use any instead of some in affermative sentences? For example. I have some tickets and I have any tickets. Are both sentences right? Because my English teacher told me they were not.

In affermative sentences they have different meanings:
Some=un po', qualche: I'll have some chocolate (prenderò della cioccolata); last summer I read some books (l'estate scorsa ho letto dei libri)
Any=qualunque, qualsiasi, tutto: I read any book (leggo qualunque libro); I'll have any book you have (prenderò qualunque/tutti i libri che hai).

Pity he was too idle to tell you why. 'Some' is positive. 'Any' is a negative or a question.
I have some tickets.
Do you have any tickets?
I don't have any tickets.
Perhaps he didn't know.

no. any (in the meaning you are thinking about) is only used in a question, as in "do you have any tickets?"
