Do you agree that Google+ RUINED YouTube?
The comment section is completely wrecked. The layout is just so unfamiliar and wrong, it's filled with all those annoying Google+ shared comments and for me, the 'Reply', 'Like' and 'Dislike' buttons that were originally under comments have vanished. I personally can't even comment because.. Oh yeah, I don't have a Google+ account. If I make one, all my YouTube account content will go and that SUCKS. I miss the old YouTube comment section. They seriously need to change back.
Agreed? Why?

Google ruined it. Google+ is just more to add to their destruction.

Youtube was ruined by its popularity, not by Google per-say. By being the largest, most popular site, it also draws the most scrutiny - be it copyright holders, the general public, or any demographic. The owners (had they been Google or not) would've be ruined by legal fees by now and probably taken down like ThePirateBay was. Until the record/film industry changes their stance on copyright infringement, the masses stop knee-jerking to every thing they see, and humans develop larger prefrontal lobes, we'll always see good ideas trampled under their weight and responsibility.

Frankly I have just quit making comments on Youtube videos which as far as I am concerned is a freedom of speech issue. Why I should have to create a Google+ account to share my feelings and experience on various videos is beyond me. I think this is a First Amendment issue. No more comments from me in the future unless they change this intrusion

Oh yes i totally agree! And its full of bugs! Everytime i post a new comment it appears in the bottom as an old comment... And all the comments new and old are shown as being posted 0 seconds ago.

I personally think so as well because on channels now we cant use normal made up youtube names we have to use our google+ names and i cant see where the like button and dislike button is when i want to like a comment and i agree they really need to change back :D

YEEEES! Now they are trying to make me create a whole new YouTube channel that's public using my full name JUST to make a goddamn comment! This is the final straw for me. I'm going off the grid. I swear Google is in with the government, and this is just the government's way of stripping away our privacy and rights. Really, I shouldn't have to use my full name if I don't want to, and I don't want any of my **** to be public.

The public has spoken and Google+ has lost. Google doesn't want to accept that, so they're going to start making access to their good properties contingent upon use of their lousy properties.

As long as you idiots keep using GOOGLE and YOUTUBE nothing will CHANGE.
I choose different search engine every day and don't use Chrome.
I also use Vimeo and Veoh.

ITS FKN RIDICULOUS TO ME.
Forcing me to create a G+ account? Allowing ASCII, links to other websites (including PORN and screamers), and no character limit on posts??!
However, I do have mixed feelings about the conversations style comments. They are kinda organized better IMO, but the way they are "rated" is questionable to me now. I fear that hilarious comments that could get like 300+ "thumb ups" and STAY at the top for others to see for months/years will be a thing of the past. Now, according to what Google is saying, if Jennifer Lopez comments, she will be at the top bcz she's a celebrity and an "influencer",
SOUNDS FKN RETARDED TO ME.
