Family matters; or Family matters! High Power Weapons Stolen from SWAT Vehicle Recovered. Is this funny?
Two high power weapons were stolen from a SWAT car parked in front of an FBI Agent's house in Andover, MA. The FBI offered a $20,000.00 reward.
The 16 year old who pulled off the theft was caught when a family member tipped the police. A family member returned the weapons to authorities. The funny part is the trailing statement that, "The FBI said that the reward offered would be paid."
Is this an ironic twist, or a comic end to a turned inside out operation, where, as in literature an in life, we see a law abiding family turning in one of their own, not necessarily for God and Country, but for . . . money ?

I really doubt family members did it for money, in all likelihood they did it because they wanted their 16 year old to be safe and because they were law abiding folks. Fortunately they got paid for their 16 year old's shenanigans, yeah funny!!

The funny part is the consideration that the $20,000.00 reward will be needed by the family to pay for the boy's court cost. Even if considered a Juvenile (if he's lucky); he's still guilty of grande larceny and possession of guns without a license in the state of Massachusetts (not a good state in which to be caught).
The reward could be looked at as a rare charitable gesture by a representative of an FBI SWAT team.
