Should I stay home or go to school tomorrow?

So my wonderful mother (feel free to look at my previous questions to get an idea of how amazing she is) wants me to stay home from school tomorrow even though I'm failing and we're about to get report cards so I can watch my little brother because he's sick and can't go to daycare. She says she doesn't have anyone else to watch him even though she refuses to call my grandparents because they're not always reliable. I told her I'm going to school because I need every grade I can get and now she's crying and saying I'm always so selfish and never help (even though I stayed home once before while /I/ was sick to watch him so she could go to work). She's hardly looked for baby sitters and the one she did find decided on another family because she didn't reply to the sitters email. She's had to stay out of work before because she got into a wreck texting and driving (which I told her to stop doing repeatedly) and had to wait to get her car fixed. She asked why I always do this to her and that she's going to lose her job and it'll be my fault. When I told her to just call my grandparents for help she said "You're dead to me, do you hear me?! DEAD" and stormed out. So. My question to you is: Should I stay home or should I go to school?"

Oh forgot to mention I have a d-hall tomorrow (I was tardy twice) and if I don't serve it I get I.S.S. and Saturday detention. Kind of mandatory that I go to school and that my mom stop being such a stubborn c*nt and just call my grandparents for help. What do you think?

Update:

Yeah she just said (I believe this is the fourth time she's done this) that she's kicking me out and that she doesn't want anything to do with me anymore. Anytime she's upset she always says this.

Update 2:

@Tom At least I'm f*cking trying ok. If I didn't give a sh*t about my grades and said "F*ck it sure I'll baby sit" In my eyes THAT is when I would become a failure, because I would've given up and stopped trying. But geeze I'm trying my hardest here, I go to tutoring whenever I can, I can't go in the morning or afternoon because I have to ride the bus and I get there too late, and have to leave early. I study hard, I try on my tests, I do what I can. Unlike my mom who just gives up on everything all the time. At least I still give a sh*t and am trying to help myself instead of relying on others to do my work for me. Yeah I'm failing some classes but I can at least know that I gave a d*mn and went down fighting until the last grade was put in.

Update 3:

I mean hell I even had to call my grandma FOR my mom so she could find somebody to baby sit my brother because not only would my mom NOT call my grandparents, SHE WON'T EVEN LOOK FOR ANOTHER F-ING BABY SITTER. GOD! EVERYBODY always has to do EVERYTHING for her. ALWAYS. She's so f-cking lazy, the first 2 weeks we moved here to this city I had to be my brothers mother because my mom just sat her fat a** on the couch, ate, texted, and cried all d*mn day. 2 WEEKS. and I've been an only child MY WHOLE LIFE. I didn't know a d*mn thing about taking care of babies. I didn't even hardly know how to change his diaper, but I still f*cking did it. Not to mention I was only 16 at the time and he was maybe 7 or 8 months old.

OK here's the deal. It is not YOUR responsibility to watch your brother. SHE is the mother, not you. Besides, remind her that if you miss enough days, the truant officer will be after her and she'll get hit with some hefty fines. It would be cheaper to pay a sitter than $2500+ fines for your truancy. Meanwhile, talk to your guidance counselor about this.

Apparently in your case it won't matter much what you're going to do, seems like you're going to end up a failure anyways.

Go and serve your detention tomorrow.

Sounds like either way it's gonna be **** day for you. I'd go to school though.
