What Best Answer is more valuable to you the one that is chosen by the asker or the one through voting?

'Valuable'?
I don't really place (what I'd consider) a 'value' on it, but I do appreciate a Best Answer chosen by the asker (since it was that person who asked the question) over a BA chosen by voters.
However ... in many cases, my answer is something the asker didn't like, or didn't want to hear ... and if/when the question goes to voting, mine is chosen. Meaning ... even though the asker didn't like it, others DID like it. I get a LOT (probably more than half) of my BAs from questions for which the asker did not bother to choose.

The asker. Sometimes they choose a useless answer though.

I love when an asker choses my answer and then comments on it. Makes me happy. And that makes me sad (I shouldn't care either way, really)
