what's better; to have arrogance, or to have humility?

In general good qualities are always best and important to have but drawback is it pays delay , not only that it tests our patience lot , also there comes time where you have to lose your self respect , but despite of these good qualities surely pays in the end , every sacrifice has reward , so don't worry if your goodness doesn't pays , it surely pays but takes time , lastly having arrogance is not bad but it should be used only at some cases , always go for goodness only . humility is best .. .

They each have their place. That arrogant person...nine times out of ten they're wrong and considereed bull-headed because they didn't listen to what was so obviously the right choice, what everyone else was telling them. The person with humility would have accepted reality and done better. And then there's that one time they turn out to be right, and now they're a visionary, changing the world.

The rational choice is the right choice most of the time. But not always. That's why we have the ability to be irrational I think.

The most common sense answer would of course be humility, however... even humility can boast of itself and thus become arrogance.

Arrogance is unattractive and boring. Humility is attractive but should not be overdone. How about a happy medium?
