    Instead of running away from adversity run to it.

    You get courage from your fears right after you go through it

    find your fear say screw it and do it anyways like when scared of heights and your sky diving just jump don't think just jump or when scared to fight someone just throw he first punch get rowdy and you might win just think about all the men and women who have done it before you and just do it

    For me, I mostly just say, "Ok, yeah, I'm afraid, but I need to do it anyway," whatever "it" may be.
