Computer boots itself up because of Wlan...?
My new Desktop-PC automatically switches on when I turn on the WLan Router which is REALLY annoying because I spent hours trying to fix this and still can't find a solution for it. I searched through the Bios, made changes to the Registry, Task Scheduler and Device Manager (Wake-on-Lan and everything what possibly could boot my PC is deactivated!) but nothing helps.
Yes, I know I simply could turn the switch off on the back of my PC but that's a lame solution that doesn't solve this problem really. Please help!
OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
Motherboard: Asus Z87-Pro (it has a built-in Wlan Device)

First you need to look in BIOS again to ensure wake-on-lan is off. Just in case the settings did not change. Most likely the problem is a setting on the wireless card as it is probably not pett of the motherboard, so look through its' properties in network adapter. Under advanced power settings it will have allow wake-on-lan.
