Are there pseudonyms in British/American passports?
Hello there!
I just wondered... In Germany it's possible to put your pseudonym in your passport when you're an artist - a musician for example. It's also possible to sign documents with your pseudonym. Is it the same way in Britain? Is it different there? And what about the US? Does anyone know?
No, I didn't mean instead of the real name. I meant in addition to it^^

No, in Britain your passport must bear the name on your birth certificate or officially changed name, if changed by deed poll.
In Germany the pseudonym can only be used alongside the "real" name, not instead of it and replace it entirely.

I think you can only do that if you change your name officially. Which in the UK is easy and only costs around £30.
