Do liberals live under a Rock since they can't get an ID?

While true that not all states, if any, distribute free ID cards as of now, they certainly will WHEN these laws take place. You require ID to have Welfare and Insurance purposes. It is likely the US government will provide every legal registered voter a photo Voter ID card for free. That is not a poll tax. It should have been put into place several years back. Originally, we didn't have ID cards because we didn't have the resources to make them. People who are saying this is suppression are usually the ones on welfare and unemployment--and love democrat presidents. This will cut out a lot of Voter Fraud.

They have IDs. That whole IDs are profiling racist crap was to change the law so that they could have illegals vote democrat or so they could vote several times in each state. It was about voter fraud and getting democrats elected.

Why do you think dead people vote democrat? Or what about the countless elections where the democrat won a county with 100,000 votes when the county only has a population of 60,000. Without voter fraud democrats would never win.

Of course if democrats never got elected the country would be a happy place with low taxes and low crime where everyone had a job and loved life. What a horrible thought. I'm so glad democrats cheat to get elected so they can ruin the country and turn it into a 3rd world **** hole.

All of that is true, but here's the kicker. You cannot REGISTER to VOTE without an ID. You cannot even register! You need an ID to register in ALL 50 STATES. So, yeah. They have an ID.

This whole thing is nothing but a ruse, a feint, to help them continue to have many people, many of whom are unregistered to vote multiple times in multiple places. If they have to present an ID, their little game is up. There is no other explanation to their resistance to such a common sense requirement.

There is a difference between the words 'disproportionately' and 'exclusively'. No one said that the new laws exclusively affect liberals. They affect many conservatives as well who, based on the 'logic' of the question, must be living under rocks.

BTW. While the state issued ID may be free, getting the necessary documents, such as a certified copy of a birth certificate, is not.

most people can get IDs... just for many, why should they?

my grandma doesn't need an ID to do the things that she does... gone to the same doctor for years, already in the hosptial system...

she doesn't drink... doesn't smoke... had a checking account for years...

You are wrong. Most states charge for ID, and many elderly and poor do not have ID. Your insults do not change reality.

It's funny that they do pull out a id for govt benefits.

Now that the Voting Rights Act has been repealed by conservatives, we will be inundated with hundreds of law suits as racist Southern States once again try to prevent black and minority voters from voting, by ever more ingenious methods.

Forcing Americans to purchase an ID in order to vote is a poll tax, and is unconstitutional.
