Books about dinosaurs?

The New Illustrated Dinosaur Dictionary by Helen Roney Sattler, Pockets Dinosaurs by Neil Clark, and there's one with Asteroid in the title that goes into detail about the dino's extinction. Also, due to ongoing new discoveries about dinos, the more recent the books...the better. That's because some knowledge of the past was found to be inaccurate. For example, the T-Rex didn't walk vertically. However, it did walk horizontally in order for its tail to be off the ground and serve as a counterweight. If you get dino books that are too old, they'll feature T-Rex walking incorrectly with its tail dragging the ground...ouch! That's just one of many outdated dino "facts".

Two good ones are The Dinosaur Encyclopedia, by Michael Benton (1984), published by Simon and Schuster, and Dinosaur, by David Norman (1991), published by Macmillan. You might consider them "old" but it's not as if dinosaurs were evolving in the last few decades.
