What do you think about the ring bearer wearing a bear headband and bow tie?

For an offbeat funny kinda wedding. You know how children hear bearer and think it is bear.
Ring bearer is five. Should be just young enough that wouldn't mind this for five minutes(would only wear it walking up the aisle). 
What do you think about him in a suit and one of these on:

I'm not a fan.

Honestly,  he's old enough to be embarrassed by it.  I know you mean it to be fun and lighthearted,  but he's a person, not a prop or a joke.  Unless there is some sort of theme where others are wearing pieces of costumes, it doesn't make any sense.

I think it's a riot - some people may not get it though, and you should be ready for a last minute revolt against wearing the ears. Bear humbug if they don't!
