How can I stop worrying about getting my first tattoo?
I have a huge fear of passing out. I have had piercings- quite a lot, I never passed out from those. But I have read horror stories that people can pass out from getting a tattoo because they either get too worked up or have low blood sugar. I plan on eating a lot, I plan on having cereal, then heaps of fruit after such as bananas and mandarins. And I want to have some chocolate beforehand after and during the experience. What is the likelihood of someone passing out from getting a tattoo, does what I will eat sound okay for getting a tattoo. I really do not want to pass out, I'm really scared. I'm not scared about the pain too much it's just that passing out fear. I'm probably not even getting the tattoo I wanted as I feel it could be a bit too much for a first tattoo seeing as it is my first experience of getting a tattoo it would be best for something small. I grew up in Australia so I am thinking of getting a pretty small kangaroo on my wrist.

Tattoos on girls are really unattractive, they only work on guys.

Do things that help you feel calm. Listen to stories from other people about when they got their first tattoo. Perhaps practice breathing methods like someone who's preparing to give birth. You need that inner calm before and during.
I did not pass out. I have no issues with needles. I was afraid of the pain. I give blood without passing out. I have pierced myself (ears, nose, etc) and by professionals (tongue, lip, etc). So basically I don't have a history that would make you think I would pass out for a tattoo. In fact, the only people I've seen look somewhat faint were on tv. (Most of my friends have tattoos.)
The tattoo process feels more annoying than painful. It makes you want to move your body so you don't have that feeling anymore. It's like being burned with a very precise laser. At least, that's how it felt to me. Even when it's small, they have to go over it a few times. It's not so bad after the first pass because you now know what it's like. Just some body parts hurt more than others. Everytime he kept going back to touch up my wrist area, it hurt, really hurt, but not like you want to cry. Just that laser burn. Maybe take a magnifying glass outside and burn your skin to help prepare yourself or accidentally touch the tip of a soldering iron. If you don't pass out, you're good to go to the shop.

Hi :),
Don't get a tattoo,
Don't eat much, instead maybe figs and olives would be much better (don't eat/drink standing and eat with your right hand)
Good luck
