Opposition to the government - Russia 1855?

I'm researching some context for my A-Level History essay

Can anybody help me find some good source to find out about opposition (if there was any? to what extent was there and how successful was it?) to 'tsardom' in Russia in 1855.

Any knowledge, or any websites or books would be extremenly helpful, thank you.

1855 was the year Alexander II became Tsar he was assassinated on March 13 1881 There was a lot of political opposition to the Tsarist Monarchy both before and after 1855. The main group of revolutionaries were the Decembrists  see Wiki  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decembrists
