What are the most annoying/offensive movie characters?

I just watched a very obscure horror film called The Mangler based on the short story by Stephen King under the same title. Robert Englund played an extremely terrible (as in low quality) and annoying character as the owner of the laundry. If his character wasn't as annoying, I would've had a positive viewing experience.

Other seriously annoying characters:

Jar Jar Binks - Star Wars (so obvious)

Rupert Pupkin - The King of Comedy (still enjoyed the movie)

Hermione - Harry Potter series

Will Ferrell's character in "Stranger Than Fiction". I had no idea why the eff I should care for this boring, annoying someone.

Dakota Fanning in War of the Worlds - She made my ears bleed.

Ja Ja Binks is the first that springs to mind, but I don't think he ruins the movie...he's quite amusing after a while...once you get past him being irritating...

Norbit and Bruno are sort of offensive characters...quite bad on sterotypes.
