Dedication/"Presented to" page of a bible... Advice?

if you still have your mum and she has not passed it would be nice to ask her to write something in it for your baptism. if their has been a rift this would be the best way to heal it. if anyone else wrote in it, it would insult your mum, for she was the one to give it to you and no one else. on my 21st my mum gave me a special present but it had nothing written on it. when I could afford it I had it engraved with to ---- happy 21st love from mum. that way, even though I always' would know mum bought it for me the engraving made it special. it was stolen along with other sentimental things over 30 years' later. I will never forgive them.
