Is there a way to stop my period?

I don't want my period, I already have anxiety and it's really stressful for me to have one, I don't want children, and if I do I will probably have one when I'm in my 30s if I have one. I'm trying to lose weight and I heard going on the pill makes you gain weight, is there anything else I can have done to stop it or at least lessen it?

Well if you're thinking of something drastic like surgery its not ganna happen. But all I can say from personal experience is when I was on birth control Implanon as a side effect my period stopped completely. Now it was an accidental side effect and just because you get Implanon it doesnt mean it will happen to you.

Having your period is a natural part of being a female. And not all types of birth control make you gain weight. You would just need to go talk to your doctor and see which kind is the right match for you. If you are the type that forgets to take pills you can do the patch. If you only want 4 periods a year then they have a type that does that. They used to have a depo shot you could get that let's you decide how often you want to have your period. But everyone I know who got the depo shot with one exception gained weight. Also being active and working out helps regulate your period and bloating
