Need Help With Guitar Lessons?!?
Ok so I am a 15 year old girl and I was wondering if there was a way for me to get free guitar lessons. My family can't afford any lessons because it is just me, my four siblings, and my mom. I live in Georgia and I have researched programs for low income families but I can't fing anything in the are that I live in. All the ones I found are in Atlanta and my mom can't take me because she has to work. I already take 'classes' at school but the people there aren't as serious as I am. I am in a Magnet Program for guitar and they really haven't set things up. I have been playing for almost two years now and my teacher said I have a lot of potential that I just need to get private lessons (which I can't afford). I've tried teaching myself at home but our computer is broken and I can't afford books. I am really dedicated to this. I am a really good sight reader and am currently working on a song called 'Prelude in D Minor' that is normally for advanced players. What I really need to work on is my technique. I feel so lost because I feel like if I had professional help, my playing could get SO much better. I really want to major in music when I get to college but I might not be able to get a music scholarship if I don't take lessons. I don't even have my own instrument. I had to borrow one from my school. PLEASE HELP!!! ANY ADVICE IS NEEDED!!!
Just to make sure things are clear, I can already read notated music and tabelature. And I can't look up video lessons because my computer is broken and it's not going to be fixed anytime soon. And the reason I want a teacher is not because I can't read music it's because I want a professional to help me with my technique.

Step1 ) Well first of all, you'll need to buy your own guitar, a simple acoustic shouldnt cost more than $ 80.
Step 2) Learn how to read guitar tablature. You can google this & you'll find lots of tutorials
Step 3) Once you can read tabs, find tabs for a song you like & start learning. You can find tabs for any song imaginable via google.
Step 4) Learn another song via tabs & so on.
This is how i learnt to compose, by learning other people's compositions.

Go on Youtube. This Australian guy gives REALLY good lessons on popular songs. I love the guy. His username on Youtube is: Jest Song Channel. He plays songs like: Imagine One How to Save a Life and lots of others. Happy playing.
